As part of the many Canada 150 celebrations taking place during 2017, vocal ensemble voces boreales once again puts contemporary choral music at the forefront with a Coast to Coast concert featuring works by present-day Canadian composers.

Winter 2018:

Shakespeare and compagnie

Four hundred years after his death, Shakespeare still inspires. Stephanie Moore and Tim Brady premiere two settings of texts by the great playwright that showcase the depth and power of the Voces Boreales choir and the ingenuity of the ensemble Of Sound, Mind and Body.

Choral Conducting Masterclass – Ninth Edition
The Institute will host its ninth annual masterclass on choral conducting next March. Six conductors from Canada and the United States will then have the chance to work with some top-notch Montreal choirs under the guidance of internationally renowned conductor Andrew Megill.
