10th Choral Conducting Masterclass

On March 21, 22, and 23, 2019, the Montreal Choral Institute will once again offer an annual three-day intensive conducting workshop. Six selected conductors will work individually with a number of Montreal-based choral ensembles and will hone their techniques with attentive tutelage from Andrew Megill.

A few years ago, Montreal was delighted to welcome Andrew Megill as the new OSM Chorus director. An international figure on the choral scene, Megill is much loved by choristers, soloists, instrumentalists, composers, and public alike. Conductors who wish to be considered must submit a curriculum vitæ, motivation letter, and provide two hyperlinks of contrasting conducting videos (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo) by 11:00 p.m. on January 26, 2019. Conductors should expect an answer 10 days after each document has been submitted.
