  On March 12th, Voces Boreales will be joining forces with the St. Lawrence Choir for its Motets in Leipzig concert. The event is part of a new three-year project by the SLC to explore the motet in all its forms. Generally sacred and a cappella, the motet is an opportunity for composers to play with rich choral harmonies, often in eight voices, and to combine music and theology through a text-led musical rhetoric.
