Noël aux chandelles

Voces Boreales Octet VB8 kicks off the holidays with this candlelit concert in a historical venue: UQAM's Sherbrooke Pavilion! VB8's one-hour concert will showcase songs inspired by traditional Christmas carols from composers Nielsen, Clausen, MacMillan, Todd, and more. O Sapentia by Benjamin Sigerson will be premiered.

The Sherbrooke Pavilion, built by John Smith Archibald and Maurice Perrault between 1090 and 1911 according to French classic architecture, won the Prix Orange from Sauvons Montreal for the restoration of this building.
