About Ben Duinker

Across a 20-year career in percussion, Ben Duinker has premiered some 100 works for solo, chamber, and large-ensemble idioms. He initially specialized in solo percussion, winning prizes at the OSM Standard Life Competition, PASIC Solo Percussion Competition, the Universal Marimba Competition, and the Prix D’Europe. Since 2013 his most frequent outlet for performance has been Architek Percussion, a Montreal-based quartet that has toured extensively across Canada and internationally and released eight albums.
