An Opus Prize Nomination
We are proud to announce that we have been nominated at the 27th edition of the Prix Opus of the Conseil québécois de la musique in the "Concert of the year – All Repertoires" category for BACH.
Larger than life, the great Cantor of Leipzig's exhilaratingly modern music still inspires composers today - 270 years after his death. As a pillar of classical music, Bach and his music defined the 18th Century, and influences creators to this day. Along with some of Bach's most breathaking works (Komm, Jesu, Komm), this concert showcases the hold he had on composers from the 19th to the 21st Century, from Mendelssohn to Evangelista.
The Opus Prize Gala will take place at Bourgie Hall on February 4.
