A Word from the Executive Director
Dear colleagues, partners and supporters,
As we all know, change is an inevitable part of life, and here at Voces Boreales, we are no exception. I am writing to inform you that, at the end of June, I will be stepping down from my role as Executive Director and Chair of the Board of Directors. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team for over four years, focusing on laying the foundations for governance that will enable Voces Boreales to grow and ensure its stability in the future. We have also made significant strides in fundraising and establishing strong partnerships for corporate sponsorship. Although the work is never-ending, I sincerely hope that, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, Voces Boreales will still be here for at least the next 20 years.
When I first discovered Voces Boreales, I was deeply struck by the group’s ethereal quality — an impression that still inspires me today when I look back on our journey.
Looking ahead, I am delighted to announce that our wonderful Alexia Jensen has been promoted to Executive Director. With this new addition and a strong team — both on the board and in operations — I sincerely believe that Voces Boreales has no limits.
To everyone who has given their time, talent and resources, we could not have done this without you. I would like to thank you personally for everything you have contributed.
I wish you a relaxing summer as we look forward to a bright and sustainable future for Voces Boreales.
